Clinical Supervision for the LCSW-A

Are you in the process of pursuing your LCSW license in North Carolina? If you are looking for a Clinical Supervisor, connect with me to discuss your supervision goals. I provide in-person and virtual supervision for provisionally licensed professionals in North Carolina. In person supervision is available for individuals willing to travel to the Holly Springs, NC area. 


During supervision, we will discuss specific cases, ethical dilemmas, and explore your goals for growth throughout your professional career journey. As your Clinical Supervisor, you can count on me to bring my genuine self to our time together.  


Per the NCSWCLB board: 

  • A minimum of 3000 hours of appropriately supervised clinical practice over a period of time no less than 2 years, or more than 6 years are required for LCSW eligibility. 
  • A minimum of 100 hours of supervision is required and shall be maintained at a ratio of 1 hour of supervision for every 30 hours of practice. 
  • A maximum of twenty-five (25) hours of group supervision is allowed but all remaining applicable supervision must be individual (one-on-one, in person). 

What you can expect from Jennifer as your Clinical Supervisor

  • Certified Clinical Supervisor through NASW
  • Over 2 decades of experience as a LCSW in various settings (private practice, residential treatment facilities, county mental health systems, inpatient hospital settings, educational settings) 
  • A supervisor who is approachable, warm, supportive and empathic
  • A supervisor who possesses good clinical insight and provides useful feedback and constructive criticism to each supervisee
  • A supervisor who is a natural connector and has the ability to provide support while also challenging supervisees to promote professional growth and insight
  • A supervisor whose social work practice is based on strong ethical principles

Goals of Supervision

  1. Promoting supervisee growth and development through teaching.
  2. Protecting the welfare of the client.
  3. Monitoring supervisee performance and readiness for the profession.
  4. Empowering the supervisee to self-supervise and carry out the above goals as an independent professional.

Individual Supervision: 60 min - $125 (In-person or virtual)

Weekly: One-on-one clinical supervision


*NC LCSW-A: Please be aware that per the NCSWCLB board, supervision must be provided at a ratio of 1 hour for every 30 hours of clinical work.  50% of your total supervision hours can be conducted via technology.

Dyadic Supervision: 60 min - $75 (In-person or virtual)

Bi-weekly: Clinical Supervision to two supervisees at the same time; willing to travel to your agency/location for an additional fee.


*NC LCSW-A: Please be aware that per the NCSWCLB board, a maximum of 25 hours of group

supervision may be applied toward satisfying the supervision requirement; the remainder must be individual supervision.

Group Supervision: 90 min - $50 (In-person or virtual)

Bi-weekly to Monthly: Clinical Supervision provided to four to six supervisees in closed group; must have at least 2 years of clinical experience; willing to travel to your agency/location for an additional fee.


*NC LCSW-A: Please be aware that per the NCSWCLB board, a maximum of 25 hours of group

supervision may be applied toward satisfying the supervision requirement; the remainder must be individual supervision.
